Diagnostic Dowsing and health

Wyvern Dowsing Society

One of the most frequently asked questions is “How can I use dowsing for health?” There are several ways to go about it, but one of the easiest methods for the beginner is analytical dowsing. It is essential to be completely open mind about whet you think may be the problem and ask a series of questions which are worded in such a way that they are totally unambiguous. One way is to make up a list of major organs of the body and use this as a dowsing checklist. For example:- Ears, liver, respiratory system, skeletal system, etc. Using your Pendulum ask if there is any malfunction of this particular gland, limb etc. Before starting, always check your Yes/No response as they can some times alter. When the malfunctioning part of the body has been ascertained, another list can be used to suggest a treatment.

When a part of the body is found to be malfunctioning, only you can decide if you can heal it your self or whether a professional opinion should be sought. If you decide to heal the problem yourself. more analysis is required, for example many health problems in the west are rooted in the deficiencies of the western diet. If dowsing suggests that is the case, make another list or chart of vitamins, trace elements, protein, carbohydrates etc., and use this to dowse whether there any deficiencies or over indulgences. Another list can be made of common allergies and food additives.

You could also make up a lists of ingredients used in such things as shampoo, detergents,  soap, cosmetics, paint and household cleaners. Tannalised timber for outdoor use, chipboard type building materials often contain formaldehyde, which has a detrimental effect on many allergy-prone people. All these could go on your list to dowse, enabling you to gradually build up a profile of your body’s problems and requirements.

Above all, when asking these sorts of questions, be specific- always ask if a substance is beneficial for you at THIS moment or Harmful at THIS moment. A foodstuff may be bad for you at present, but under different circumstances, and vice-versa.

If in doubt, ask another dowser to cross check, or failing that, think of a different way to pose the question.

The main thing to remember is that the questions must be simply worded so that they can only have one meaning, and must be capable of being answered with a yes/no response.

Paul’s note: Don’t forget to before you dows,e ask your pendulum to: show you Yes, show you No, Can I dowse this and May I dowse this.

Dowsing for Health

 FOOD

Dietary requirements

A well-balanced diet contains foodstuffs (carbohydrates, fats and proteins) from the 3 main food groups in roughly the proportions shown, as well as adequate fibre, water and supplementary vitamins and minerals. Use the table below as a starting point

Protein (c.15% of diet)

High quality sources include: eggs, pulses, soya, quinoa, cheese, meat and fish.

Water

Drink c. 2 litres/3.5 pints of filtered uncarbonated water every day

Fats and oils (c.15% of diet)

High quality sources include: fresh fish, nuts and seed oils.

Minerals

High quality sources include: whole grains, pulses, seeds, green and root vegetables.

Carbohydrate (c. 70% of diet)

High quality sources include: whole grains (rice, oats, whole wheat), green and root vegetables, and fresh fruit.

Vitamins

High quality sources include: nuts and seeds, fresh and raw green and root vegetables and fresh fruit.

Fibre

High quality sources include: whole grains, nuts and seeds, vegetable and fresh fruit.

Subtle energy

All raw, fresh fruit and vegetables, especially green and root vegetables.

Holding  your  pendulum ask:

Show me yes

Show me no

Can I dowse for my diet

May I dowse for my diet

Dowse over the food with your pendulum asking questions that can be answered with a yes or a no.  Don’t forget your responses may vary at different times.

Suggested questions to get you started using the above chart:

Is this item good for me to eat or drink?

Does my present diet meet all of my protein needs?

Do I need to add new source of protein to my diet?

Would my protein needs be met by adding eggs to my diet?

Would one egg per week be sufficient to meet my needs at this time?

Should I also add other sources of other protein?

Diet Analysis

Make an overall dowsing analysis of your diet. Here are some pointers to start with:

Identify any foods that are missing from your diet, any that are present in excess and any that your body would rather not have.

Start to compile a list of foods, which your dowsing indicates you need. Using the above table to help you.

The process of tailoring your diet is a necessarily a slow one – dowse once a week in this way over a period of three months and keep adding to or amending your list. Keep a diary of the changes you experience.

Dowsing a meal

You can dowse as you prepare your meal. Suggested questions:

Does this meal contain everything my body I needs right now?

Do I need to add more fat of oil?

Would a serving of sunflower seeds meet my needs?

Is there anything in this meal that my body would prefer less of? More of?

Is there any thing I should eliminate from this meal?

Plummeting mineral levels suggest nutritional crisis in UK

By Anthony Fletcher

03/02/2006 - The plummeting mineral content of milk, meat and vegetables over the past 60 years will have grave consequences for the future health of the UK, according to a shocking food analysis.

Dr David Thomas, a primary healthcare practitioner and independent researcher, made a comparison of government tables published in 1940, and again in 2002.

His conclusions, which were published by the Food Commission this month, make alarming reading.

For example, the iron content in 15 different varieties of meat had decreased on average by 47 per cent, with some products showing a fall as high as 80 per cent, while the iron content of milk had dropped by over 60 per cent.

Copper and magnesium, essential for enzyme functioning, also showed losses in meat products. Magnesium levels have typically fallen by 10 per cent while copper levels have fallen by 60 per cent.

Dairy foods have experienced a 90 per cent fall in copper, while the calcium loss in high-value Parmesan cheese was an extraordinary 70 per cent, implying a considerable dilution of the original highly concentrated recipe.

"Processed and manufactured food has resulted in increasingly denatured products, with no micronutrients," Thomas told FoodNavigator. "As time has gone on, things have got lost.

"With the current obesity crisis, lo and behold; people are beginning to realise that good food makes good sense."

But the default meal for many children remains a plate of rendered meat, chips and Coke.

"We're beginning to see what was once called adult onset diabetes in kids, and an increase in asthma and hyperactivity," said Thomas. "All these have nutritional links. When I see chronic illnesses such as these, I always think it is amazing what a difference changing diets can do but why shouldn't it be like this in the first place?"

Intensive farming on exhausted land appears to be one likely major cause of the decline in the nutritional quality of the food, along with the selection of varieties for qualities other than nutrition. Thomas points out that the food industry is also under intense pressure to produce cheaper food, instead of nutrient-dense food.

"Why is it that you have to eat four carrots to get the same amount of magnesium as you would have done in 1940?" he asks.

The UK's Food Standards Agency (FSA), which publishes The Composition of Food, points out that the use the government tables to make historical comparisons could be problematic. It said in a statement that any differences over time could be due to a wide variety of factors, including variety and breed, animal husbandry, storage conditions as well as differences in analytical methodology.

But statistics clearly show that there is something seriously wrong with levels of nutritional awareness in Europe. The European Commission says that 14 million Europeans are now obese or overweight, of which more than 3 million are children.

"We've lost the plot," insists Thomas. "Until people wake up to this situation, then things will get worse."

Food, says Thomas, has to be grown well in order for it to be micronutrient dense. This concept should inform government policies across Europe.

"But the only people interested in this at the moment seem to be celebrities," he added.

Editorial

Hello again and a happy New Year!  I hope you have all enjoyed Christmas and are now looking forward to the New Year. I am certainly looking forward to starting this year, I am just finishing off the new Wessex Dowsers Program and am looking forward to running this years new extended range of dowsing courses which include dowsing for beginners, dowsing for health, Earth Energies and geopathic stress and a new one day workshop on using Dowsing as a way of influencing your future using intent based on the author Raymond Grace’s book “The future is yours do something about it”

As promised in this edition I have the article from the British Society of Dowsers journal published titled “Dowsers Discover Concealed Megalith” which is an account by me of our discovery of the fallen standing stone at Knowlton Henge last May. It was the lead article in the journal, which included a full-page photo on the front page taken and edited by Paula Haywood full credit is given to all involved.

For those of you interested in health (and who isn’t) I have included a truly inspirational article on dowsing for health taken from an earlier BSD journal.

The first dowsing for health course went very well in November last year and students said they were impressed by the venue at the Grasshopper in Parkstone. I have published the course dates for this year below: all courses are being run in the Grass hopper near Bournemouth  on the south coast with accommodation if required

The Dowsing Mechanism

Bob Cracknell

Bob will explain all about Entanglement, how it makes dowsing work and how it affects Ley lines. This is where the Quantum scientist meets the psychic and the dowser. Whatever happens to one particle will thus immediately affect the other particle, wherever in the universe it may be. Einstein called this "Spooky action at a distance." Bob Cracknell is a former Instrumentation Scientist with the Defence Research Agency. His research includes understanding the Ley line signal, the dowsing mechanism and gravitationally entangled protons.

Dowsers Discover Concealed Megalith

By Paul Craddock

Published in The British Society of Dowsers Journal December 2005

Knowlton Church and Henge is 3 miles south of Cranborne on the B3078 and is one of Dorset’s most sacred sites. Many authors of archaeology and earth mysteries have cited it. R. Hippisley Cox described Knowlton in his 1914 book “The Green Roads of England” as a Henge Temple and thought that material of the Church once formed the stone circles of a Sun Temple. Knowlton Rings consists of 4 earthworks: the North Circle, Church Circle, Southern Circle and the “Old Churchyard” In addition to these sites to the east of the Church Circle is the great Barrow, the largest round barrow in Dorset, and almost certainly directly related to the henges. Within a one-mile radius of these earth works there are also a large number of barrows and ring-ditches. Within the Church Circle is the ruin of Knowlton Church which contains architectural features dating from the twelfth to the sixteenth centuries.

I have visited Knowlton on many occasions to conduct dowsing research and to teach other dowsers. Nearly all my dowsing has taken place in the Church Circle, which is the one looked after by English Heritage with access to the public and is the Henge with the ruined Norman Church in its centre.

My story for Dowsing Today readers starts this year in early April 2005 when I was filming for a forthcoming course with my friend Tim Chaloner and his son  11 year old son Remy. Remy is interested in photography and had with him an old SLR manual camera with which he went off on his own and took many pictures around the site. Three weeks later, after examining the photographs taken by Remy energy line was discovered on three of the photographs much like a ghost but in the form of a line. The three photographs of the energy line appeared all in the same location on the far side of the Henge.

Later on  in May 2005 I was running one of my BSD  dowsing courses at Knowlton and asked Tim and his son to come along and match the photos of the energy line to the correct location on site. Which they managed to do. I then decided to  get my students to dowse the energy line seen in the photographs, on tracking the line one of my students Al Urquhart  tracked the line over what appeared to be a small flat stone, but when the weeds were pulled a way,  Al found a large standing stone now fallen down, lying flat in the ground. In a subsequent article in the British Archaeology  magazine the stone was described as a rectangular slab around 1m by 40cm.

Interestingly, I found another stone, which appeared to be buried in an upright position with just its top showing in the bank close to the fallen one.

I have found that the general consensus amongst local dowsers is that the ancient site most likely had many standing stones before they where knocked down or destroyed when the now ruined Norman church was erected on what was originally an ancient Henge. two such stones can be seen in the church its self. One the alter stone, and the other clearly in the base of the tower.

After finding the stone we decided to try to dowse to see if we could locate more. This led us over the fence away from the fallen stone and out of the Henge along  to an overgrown part of the site where our dowsing indicated further fallen buried stones, however this area is currently below a high patch of nettles so further investigation did not take place. We also got the dowsing impression that there was a row of standing stones leading through a dip in the Henge towards the fallen stone.

For those of you familiar with Earth energy features. I found an Energy Ley on the spot of the ghost line in the photograph going through the stone and also an energy current of the type describes by Hamish miller flowing into the site through the fallen stone and flowing in to a mound in the Henge its self. There are many Energy Leys entering the site from different directions. Knowlton Church Circle sits in the centre of at least 5 major Leys going in different directions through Gusage St Michael Cross and Stone, Hod Hill, Badbury Rings, Verwood Hoorstone and Figsbury Rings.

There are also many energy spirals; a lot of male and female energy currents described as the Michael and Mary Currents by Hamish Miller in his book “The Sun and The Serpent”, a very powerfull male (positive in polarity) energy current flows though the two ancient t
