EDITORIAL

Welcome to this edition. I am writing this on a cold November Saturday morning  at 6 degrees C outside and with the wind-chill factor probably making it just above freezing. No doubt you all have your heating on and with the latest gas and electric price rises no doubt costing you about 50 percent more than last year...and there is nothing you can do about it.............wrong! You can thanks to the power of dowsing! No, I haven't finally gone completely mad! There is lots of scientific evidence  from the Sicily Isles read my article in this edition and take action and cut your heating bills!

Update November 9th :This will my last newsletter for a while, I have been having problems with my e-mail software which means I will have to buy different software and transfer all details which may take some time! Please accept my apologies if you have not been receiving your newsletter notifications or have received more than one.   I wish all you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Paul.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SOUTH COAST DOWSERS MEMBERS & VISITORS FROM THE CHAIRMAN.

I have spent over 20 years involved in and running dowsing groups as chairman and in other roles and I have now decided its time for a change. So from January 2009 I have decided to retire from this activity in order to focus on a dowsing research project. Thus, there will be no more South Coast Dowsers meetings after the current programme ends in December. South Coast Dowers currently has 30 members, all membership is currently due for renewal in January 2009. As you can see we currently have a good number of members considering we have only been running for 2 years and I have currently put in most of the work. To  keep it running and for it to prosper we need a committee and new Chairman who will have the time I do not have at present. So if any of you (members & potential members) feel strongly that the group should keep running and are willing to put in some of your own time and effort please let me know and I will be happy to stay on in an advisory capacity. If you feel you would like to help please contact me ASAP otherwise, unless I notify you otherwise South Coast Dowers will have its last meeting on December 1st.  Paul Craddock, November 2008

DOWSING TO MANIFEST YOUR INTENT COURSE

This one day special course will show you how to use dowsing as a tool of intent to give you the ability to beneficially affect your lives and the lives of others. The course will show how to manage energy in such a way as to benefit those to whom you direct it. You do not require complete information to solve a problem. All things are composed of energy, including our thoughts, future events are composed of thoughts not yet materialised. There are many probable futures and we have the ability to choose the best one. Using the dowsing methods taught on this course we can change the energy around us and thereby change our future. Tutor: Paul Craddock.

Saturday November 15th 2008 at the Ocean View Hotel Bournemouth. 10am. to 5pm.

Dowsing helping in difficult times……….

USING THE DOWSING EFFECT TO CUT YOUR HEATING BILL

By Paul Craddock  ©

History

Dowsing can help in many areas and is adaptable to our current needs in these worrying times.  And surprisingly, it can be used to increase the temperature of your home thus saving you money on your fuel bills!  In 1982 the late A.P. Tabraham published a booklet on Solar Energy & Dowsing in the Isles of Scilly.  This was followed by an addendum in 1992. The booklets document the research and methods used by farmers to raise the soil temperature in order to get their flowers to bloom in time for the lucrative Christmas market. Traditionally they had burnt straw in mid summer on the growing area and for an unknown reason this had the desired effect. Eventually this became uneconomical and they experimented with other methods such as using gas burners and polythene sheeting with limited success, the research continued and it was found that using dowsing rods it was possible to detect the areas that had been burnt over in June when dowsing in January to the exact inch! Experiments found an increase in soil temperature in these areas of plus 2 degrees F. They were able to confirm through research that the dowsing effect was linked to the temperature rise in the soil and that it was long lasting in to the winter. After an unusual period of snow, they came to the conclusion that the dowsing effect caused the temperature rise and was able to protect the plants during cold weather. It was also found that metal could conduct this dowsing effect and could drain it away.

Method

As it was now clear the dowsing effect was causing the rise in temperature. Research into dowsing literature was conducted and it was discovered that all that is required is to draw out a five-sided figure, a Pentagon. It can be drawn with a pen on paper, a stick on the ground, or just by marking five points on the ground to form the outline of a Pentagon while walking round a large field or the outside of your home and/or garden. The essential thing is that the first point must be touched again to complete the Pentagon; if even the smallest gap is left no dowsing effect is produced. So check it immediately with your dowsing rods. One Pentagon equals one burning over (see history above) which produces a temperature rise of 2 degrees F. To gain the maximum temperature raise a total of five pentagrams need to be created covering the same area and your house and garden will be warmer in 7-14 days with the maximum temperature raise after 14 days. However, you need to beware that sticking a mercury thermometer or a ferrous metal object into the ground may remove part or all of the dowsing effect as discovered by the Scilly Isles farmers.

Practicalities

I have used this method with other dowsers over the years on and off and usually managed a 2 degrees C temperature increase but haven’t always made the 5 Pentagrams. Often it is not possible to walk right around your home on the outside if it is semi detached or a flat for example, in which case draw a plan of you’re building then draw in the Pentagram enclosing the area you wish the temperature raised, following the same rules making sure there are five points and they all join precisely then repeat four more times and keep your plan some where safe. Then check with your rods on site to make sure the dowsing effect is detectable on the area covered in your plan. Whether you make your Pentagram on site or on your plan it does not have to be symmetrical you just need five points all joined, not forgetting to touch the first point again when you finish either on site or on your plan. You will need to repeat the process every year.

Action

So there you are, go and try it! It works for the Scilly Isles farmers and helps them get their flowers to market early. The scientific evidence is documented in the booklets already mentioned.   Let me know how you get on so maybe we can improve the results by learning from each other. Hopefully any feedback will be published in the (BSD) journal. There has never been a greater need to cut our heating bills!

Paul Craddock’s Dowsing News

OCTOBER 2008

EDITORIAL

Welcome to the October edition,  It was good to meet some of you at the British Society of Dowsers 75th anniversary  Congress last week (you know who you are!) what a great weekend! the talks and workshops were good (including the ones I ran!) but I always say the conversations that are had in between are always worth going for, not to mention the bar! One of the themes of the conference is that dowsing is adaptable and can be used to help us with life's pressing problems and with winter looming the cost of heating our home is going to be foremost on many of our minds and a little book called Solar Energy and Dowsing in the Isles of Scilly came to mind, on how the dowsing effect can raise temperatures within a determined  area. Over the years I have seen it applied to increasing the temperature within buildings. Watch out for the next edition of this Newsletter in November when I will have an article for you on this.....could save you some money off your heating bills!

I have another excellent dowsing related article from the archives for you in this edition from Professor Peter Pengilly followed by more News of events taking place.

If you live local to Bournemouth please support South Coast Dowsers at our next meeting it takes a great deal of time and effort (not to mention cost) to arrange good speakers and hire the hall. Your local dowsing group is like your village shop..... use it or lose it! ...you know who you are! After over 22 years of running dowsing groups I am more than happy to retire! We have a good talk on Monday see below:

UPDATE:  unfortunately due to computer glitch the notification for this Newsletter has gone out late.

HELPING   A   DOCTOR

BY   PROFESSOR   PETER   J.   PENGILLY

BSD EEG Group June 1996

My fist wife was ill.  She saw one specialist after another.  It always came to "in her mind".  Then we went to see a homeopath Dr Macartney in Durham.  She found various infections resident in various parts of the body and suggested the house be checked for harmful earth rays.  I thought it a joke.  I am a chemist/chemical engineer and very sceptical.  However I contacted Ian Muir and he came and dowsed the property.  I could not believe the methods he used, rods and a pendulum.  Expressing my surprise he suggested I tried.  I could find nearly everything he could!  My wife's immune system was breaking down and I learned to use a pendulum and the arm test to identify the relevant infection and the appropriate treatment.  At first I was nervous about my ability but frequent checks with the Homeopath (who also dowses) gave me increased confidence.

Although we found that my wife was being affected by harmful rays and Ian switched them off by sinking steel shafts or copper pipe as appropriate around the house,  it was all too late and she died in 1990.

In 1991 I went on a holiday to Thailand with the Homeopath and her husband.  There I did much more dowsing of historic sites for earth rays,  the results of which were published in the BSD Journal (J Brit.Soc. Dowsers 34. 232 June 1991).

Now that I was free from nursing my wife, Dr Macartney began to ask me to dowse the houses of her patients, from time to time.  She will have already dowsed a rough sketch of the house, but  does not make this available to me.

Ian had taught me a good procedure and I always use his method:

From outside sketch the shape of the property.

Dowse for harmful earth rays and water courses all round the house, markimg

the sketch appropriately.

Enter the house and check that the rays pass through.

Try to identify the position in which the sufferer sleeps,  or regularly sits

(watching TV or whatever) using the rays and paying particular attention to any that

cross.

Since then I have dowsed on average one house a month.  In every case referred to me except one I found rays were crossing where the sufferer slept and often under his/her favourite chair.  If the bed can be moved to a safe part of the room, or another bedroom is available I recommend moving it to a ray-free area.  If only harmful earth rays are the problem,  no water is flowing under the property and the property has a ring main I suggest they try installing a Raditech as marketed by Rolf Gordon (author of "Are you sleeping in a safe place?) of the Dulwich Health Society.  Otherwise I give them Ian's address and suggest they get his help.  I still regard myself as an amateur, so do  not charge but offer the sufferer the opportunity to make a contribution to the Alzheimer's Disease Society.

Some typical case studies include:

1.  Woman in her thirties with terminal cancer.  She was sleeping on crossed rays and they were successfully turned off with a Raditech.  During the conversation over coffee,  after the dowsing she remarked that her Aunt had slept in the same bed and position.  I asked how she had died.  Of cancer came the reply.  That lady 3 years later is still alive thanks to the careful treatment she is receiving  from the Homeopath and the removal of the rays.

2.  Man in his seventies with cancer.  I found two beds with crossed rays.  He had just moved from one to the other,  the latter being in the ground floor so it was easier for his wife to cope.  Other beds in the other rooms were available, but he chose another bad one.  I have observed this often,  it is almost as if the sick person is attracted to bad beds (when I went back and checked an old house we had lived in I found my wife had been sleeping on crossed rays there).

3.  Man with MS.  He was sleeping on crossed rays and when they got him up in the morning they sat him in a chair in exactly the same position on the ground floor.  Turning off the rays with a Raditech and the attention from a Homeopath has resulted in some improvement in mobility and ability to read again.

4.  Teenager suddenly showing reduction in ability at studies, direct referral from her Hospital Consultant father.  She had recently moved her bed up to the attic for more privacy and had chosen a ray to put it over.  She also sat at a desk to study where two more rays crossed.  A Raditech was sufficient and her grades showed a quick improvement.

5.  Husband with back-ache, wife with migraines who had heard me talk at a Rotary Dinner.  He was sleeping on a crossed ray and she lounged on a chaise-longue where rays crossed, in front of the television.  Installation of a Raditech stopped both the back-ache and migraines within days.

6.  The time I could not find any ray problems.  Husband, wife and children all ailing, rumours about ghostly presences since the farmhouse has been built of stone from an old house.  At the end of the survey I was asked if I knew anything about black ceilings.  I went to see, took a sample and tried them for allergy using arm test.  They were all allergic to the mould upstairs!  They had blocked up the chimneys, fitted double glazing and never opened the windows because they were out all day.  I passed them back to the Homeopath for allergy treatment.

It is frustrating to know that sleeping or repeatedly sitting in crossed rays is a serious health hazard and always to became involved too late, for sufferers rarely show much improvement, usually a slight regression of their symptoms.  Hence my letter to the BSD suggesting that we seek some way of making it known that harmful ray investigation should be done in households where people are still fit in order to avoid later complications rather than trying to close an open door.

Paul Craddock’s Dowsing News

SEPTEMBER 2008

EDITORIAL

Welcome to the September edition,  I have an article for you taken out of the Daily Mail and some news of some forthcoming dowsing events including a talk on Remote Viewing at South Coast Dowsers by David Kingston, which ties up with dowsing quite nicely. The talk is illustrated with slides and you will have a chance to try it your self!  At the end of this Newsletter I have added information on the British Society Dowsers Conference in September, this is the highlight  of dowsing event calendar this year and not to missed as its the special 75th anniversary conference! If you are going I will see you there, you will see I am running two workshops.

SOUTH COAST DOWSERS NEXT MEETING:

St. Johns Community Hall at the back of St. Johns Church, Surrey Road, Bournemouth BH12 1EG. Free Parking.

Monday September 1st  2008     7.30pm

Remote Viewing science fact of fiction?

David Kingston

David served in military intelligence and teaches remote viewing. He has lectured throughout the UK and appeared on many television documentaries.

In the early 1970s the CIA started “Project Stargate” to begin a study of controlled clairvoyance. Operation Stargate's crowning achievement came when remote viewers were able to describe in an incredible amount of detail the Soviet Union's construction of a secret missile base, which was not seen by U2 flyovers nor orbiting spy satellites. This was later substantiated by U2 spy plane flyovers and integrated human intelligence on the ground.

Remote viewing is the ability to see remote locations in your mind and describe what you see (a form of devicless dowsing) This has been successfully used by government agencies around the world. Come and try it for your self tonight!

The man who divined how a hospital could save £1m

Taken from The Daily Mail

IT was not, perhaps, the most obvious way for hospital chiefs to tackle cash shortages and rocketing water charges, but it was certainly effective. They decided to call in water diviner and within 20 minutes he had discovered a free supply directly below the hospital wards. Engineers then drilled down to a lake 500ft underground. The discovery could save the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, around £1mllion.

Health chiefs have been told they can save £30,000 a year in metered water charges, and there is enough water underground to keep the hospital going for more than 30 years. Paul Stauber, director of facifitles with Bridgend NHS Trust, which runs the hospital, said: ‘we were looking for ways to save money so I brought In a water diviner. ‘With spiraling water charges we felt it was worth looking for our own source. But it was a bit of a surprise to find so much water sitting right underneath us".

‘We were told the geology beneath the hospital was favorable and the diviner then investigated. ‘He came on site and started following his divining rods about the place. He told us where to drill the borehole and bingo, we hit an underground lake. ‘We had the water analysed and it was pure enough for the hospital to have its own well. It’s a bit like tapping Into an artesian well.’

Mr Stauber said he decided to bring in a diviner after hearing that water had been found under East Glamorgan Hospital, 10 miles away at Church Village, Pontypridd. The supply has been capped but work will start later this year to install pipes to carry the water from the lake to a pumping and purification plant.

Detailed engineering specifications are being drawn up so the scheme can go out to tender. The hospital will apply for a Licence from the National Rivers Association before the water comes on stream.

Alan Stone, a professional diviner, from Llandeilo, Dyfed, said: ‘the beauty of this for the hospital is that the water Is free, ‘If the hospital takes more than 4,400 gallons a day the National Rivers Authority can make a charge but it will cost the hospital an awful lot less than paying for a mains supply

Sticks .......and Stones
The British Society of Dowsers Conference

26 to 28 September 2008
Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Glos, GL 7 6JS

This conference, the high point of our year, celebrates 75 years of the BSD and builds on the highly successful 2007 event.

An exciting mix of lectures, practical workshops, outings and presentations is complemented by our new ‘Dowsing Fair', with an exhibition of all aspects of The Society, Dowsing and a Gallery of artwork. Our acclaimed BSD shop for tools & books will be on hand, new books will be launched and ‘Meet the Author' book signings will occur.

Whether you come for just one day or the whole weekend, there will be plenty of opportunities to try out new ideas, meet and make friends, and be stimulated by lectures from leading speakers.

Our theme, ‘Sticks and Stones', harmonises the twin aspects of our dowsing tools (rod and pendulum) with the landscape in which we use them, whether wild or managed. We travel in time, through rhythms in nature, to the many and various standing stones of Britain and Ireland. We look at Stonehenge as a place of healing and discuss dowsing, what it is and how it can stimulate changed perceptions…… and there's more! To celebrate 75 years of BSD, a Party takes place on Saturday evening.

The Royal Agricultural College, a much loved venue in the heart of the Cotswolds, is easily reached by train and car, with plenty of parking, comfortable en suite bedrooms and a reputation for good food.

The Speakers

Dr Serena Roney -Dougal

Prof Timothy Darvill

Dr Clive Beale

Hamish Miller

Michael Bott

Dr Serena Roney Dougal ....... 'Where Science and Magic Meet' Serena has a PhD in Parapsychology and over 30 years of study and experience in scientific, magical and spiritual explorations of the psyche. She has lectured and taught in America, Britain and Europe and written books; Where Science and Magic Meet and The Faery Faith . At present she is researching the relationship between meditation and psychic awareness with Tibetan monks in India.

Serena will present recent research showing how exquisitely sensitive the pineal gland, our third eye, is to the earth's magnetic field (GMF).  This could well be the link between the magnetic field aspect of water dowsing and the psychic aspect of energy dowsing at sacred sites and crop circles. Since a sudden shift in magnetic field strength affects the pineal gland, this could be a link to our feelings of numinous awe and strong visionary and psychic experiences at these places.

Serena's web site http://www.psi-researchcentre.co.uk/

Professor Timothy Darvill .... ‘Stonehenge. It's Only Rock and Roll…'
(Saturday)
Timothy Darvill
is Professor of Archaeology in the School of Conservation Sciences and Head of the Centre for Archaeology, Anthropology and Heritage at Bournemouth University, UK. The author of over a dozen books, including Prehistoric Britain and Stonehenge: the biography of a landscape, he has served as Chairman of the Institute of Field Archaeologists, was a Member of the Council of the National Trust, and is currently a Vice-President of the Society of Antiquaries of London. Current research interests focus on archaeological resource management and the Neolithic of northwest Europe.

Professor Darvill will explore and develop some of the ideas in his widely acclaimed book Stonehenge – The biography of a landscape . Why was rock brought from south-west Wales to Salisbury Plain? What did the stones mean to Neolithic people as they watched the sun rolling across the sky year in and year out? And why were the stones so important?

Dr Clive Beale ....... 'The Sun, The Moon and The Rhythm of Time' (Sunday)

Clive has spent his working life in agricultural research & education. He has a degree in agriculture, and a PhD on the physiology of biomass energy crops (which he started to study 20 years ago, long before they became trendy!).

He says that when he joined the BSD & London and Thameside Dowsers, in 2002, he thought that dowsing was simply about ‘water and drains'! However, like many novice dowsers, he soon found that the pursuit led to interests in previously unexplored subject avenues, including archaeology.

Are we governed by the calendar and the clock? Have we lost touch with our natural sense of time and the rhythms of life? What is time? What causes our solar and lunar cycles? How did our forebears develop calendars from the motions of the sun, the moon and the stars? How do plants and animals detect and respond to these cycles? These and other questions will be addressed in this presentation which aims to provide a laymen's introduction to the fascinating subject of time. No prior knowledge necessary!

Hamish Miller........' Beyond the Threshold ' Sat and Sun
Hamish is a dowser, metal sculptor and author. He read engineering at Edinburgh and through his books, talks and workshops, his work on earth energies has earned him an international reputation. Book titles include The Sun and the Serpent, It's Not Too Late, The Dance of the Dragon, The Definitive Wee Book on Dowsing, and In Search of the Southern Serpent .

Hamish will talk on Beyond the Threshold', about the way the mental discipline required in dowsing can stimulate changed perceptions in whatever field you specialise in. It opens the mind to accept possible exciting new realities.

Hamish's web site http://www.hamishmiller.co.uk/

Michael Bott........'Standing With Stones, A Journey Through Megalithic Britain & Ireland' Sat and Sun
Michael was a professional actor for 20 years and was a member of The RSC & the Royal National Theatre. He gradually made a shift into production and film making. Eight years ago he began making feature-length documentaries which include ‘ Henry Lincoln's Guide to Rennes-le-Chateau', ‘Da VInci Code Decoded, Origins of the Da Vinci Code . He also produced ‘ The Man Behind the Da Vinci Code' for Channel 5.

His fascination for the megalithic and standing stones stems from early childhood when he was first taken to the Rollright Stones. The creation of the film ‘Standing with Stones: A Journey through Megalithic Britain & Ireland ' is the fulfilment of a life-long ambition, and one he will guide us through in his presentation.

Opening the Third Eye: The Pineal Gland, our Psychic Chakra:

The pineal gland makes various neurochemicals which are similar to those used by Amazonian shamans specifically for psychic purposes. This suggests that the pineal gland truly is our third eye, our psychic centre. Swami Satyananda Saraswati also locates the physical aspect of ajna chakra in the pineal gland and has developed a programme of exercises for opening up this centre.  These findings will be discussed and some of the breathing and meditation techniques taught. For anyone walking the spiritual, magical or shamanic path of self-development these exercises are an excellent aid to further spiritual growth.

Paul Craddock’s Dowsing News

JULY 2008

EDITORIAL

Hello again, I hope you are all enjoying the Sun! we had a good Earth Energies and GS course at Avebury in June  the course was full with 12 students, the weather was good and we hand some unexpected moments such as been shown how to dowse a grid system by the Druids at the obelisk, discovering a portal to another dimension and not forgetting our evening trip to West Kennett  Long barrow and Silbury Hill past the crop circle. That's the way these courses go we always seem unintentionally to discover something new. I was asked what effect do all the tourists have on the energies as they walk around Avebury? They seem to have very little effect because most of the tourists only see the stones and have no idea about the energies present, only seeing half the picture. As soon as we started to dowse on the stones within half an hour the energies  had risen to such a level we had to move on, WE were clearly interacting with the site.

Earth Energies at Silbury Hill!                                Dowsing with the Druids at Avebury

Below are details of forthcoming field trips for South Coast Dowsers members please note I have brought forward the Knowlton Trip to the Saturday this weekend instead of the Sunday. if you are not a member and want to come you can join by paying £20.00 on the day which will cover the next trip to Corfe Castle and the Hall meetings until December.

‘A PATH TO WELL-BIENG COURSE’

RUN BY Robert GIBSON-COOK (who presented at SC Dowsers with his Aura Machine last December)

I am intending to run a Well-Being course, for self-healing, more or less within 2-3 weeks, as soon as I have about ten interested people. Although I have researched and prepared most of the information I require, I have yet to formulate it, which I am aiming to achieve during the time it takes to gather the prospective group. The course will be held at the very pleasant Scout & Guide Headquarters in the village of Langton Matravers, the other side of Corfe.

I haven’t fixed particular days or times as yet,(this will occur by consensus) most evenings are available. However only Friday’s from say 6/7pm (to suit); other week nights are available from 8pm, which might be to late for some as I am aiming for 2/3hrs per session .

I feel at present that the course will be over 4 x weeks (depending on its success); admission will be £10 per evening. As this will be the first course it won’t be set in concrete, but I am hoping that it will be an evolving, inspiring experience and fun. I expect this project to lead to number of following courses aimed at balancing energies, empowerment and personal development. Tools such as Accelerated Learning, crystals, colour, music, my computerised Bio-Feedback Aura-Vision system and lots of empowering information will be used.

MESSAGE FROM DAVID WEB ON RADIATION IN THE HOME

Southern Electric and other energy suppliers may soon be writing offering  a "Free energy monitor worth £45 to reduce your energy costs"  In fact it will not reduce your energy costs one penny. It is simply a system saving them  the cost of reading your meter and transmits a wireless signal 24/7 to your meter and back  to their base. [The same type of system used for prepayment meters]  Sounds a good idea not having them call to read your meter,   but not without problems -  one you will be bombarded day and night by a signal much the same used by wireless broadband computers that are causing people to suffer headaches, insomnia, memory loss, and other stressful conditions.

I recently had to screen my bedroom from a signal coming from a nearby building about 50 metres away in order to ensure a good nights sleep. This being a WiFi broadband wireless signal, and worried  other people  nearby will use wireless computers or install these energy monitors [ not energy savers! ] - and it is difficult to  reduce the pollution coming from other directions with increased power levels, even if one was able to afford  the cost and address further obstacles along the way.

You are aware we hold plenty of evidence for those not convinced about these dangers and willing to forward information you specify.

Do pass this message on to your friends too!   Best wishes,  David

EDITORIAL

Welcome to the May edition, it doesn't seem that long since the the January one, but at least its getting warmer!  I am writing this on the Bank Holiday and as with most of the early May Bank holidays its raining, never mind we still have the rest of the summer, so lets not waste it and make sure we get out and do some dowsing!  We have got  four trips coming up starting in on June 2nd with South Coast Dowers evening meeting dowsing around St Johns Church and Coy Pond, then the Dowsing Course at Avebury on the weekend June 14th and 15th followed by South Coast Dowsers field trip to Knowlton Circle on July 6th and finally a field trip to Corfe Castle on August 3rd. Contact me for details.

The title of our next South Coast Dowsers meeting as changed, our speaker, the well known  author Hugh Newman, is now giving us a talk he says will be more of interest to dowsers, and quite frankly I can't wait to hear it! See details below. On that theme I thought it was about time I wrote an article!  Its all about dowsing at Avebury.

STONE AGE SURVIVAL-  Earth Energies, Fertility & Secrets of the Stones.
Scientific research of crop circles has helped unlock how the ancients used earth mounds, big stones and magnetic earth energy currents to enhance seeds, promote fertility and re-mineralise their food. With dowsing, the ancients could even locate underground water, test for poisonous foods and locate magnetic and telluric lines of energy. Stone circles and dolmens acted at electrifiers to enhance seed quality and yield, and even helped keep us humans fertile, as many of the global legends state. There is new evidence that agriculture succeeded soon after the construction of megalithic sites. Is there a connection and do we need this knowledge today? Hugh will also be looking at sites from his recent trips to Peru & Malta with evidence that this knowledge was a global post-flood phenomenon. www.megalithomania.co.uk

Avebury Stone Monuments & Earth Energies

By Paul Craddock

Being thrown off a stone at Avebury!

The Avebury Stone Monuments are in my opinion the most impressive ancient site in England. Consisting of a large stone circle with two smaller circles within it with remains of two stone avenues leading in. close by can be found Silbury Hill, The Sanctuary and  West Kennet Long Barrow. And that’s just what you can see; there is of course something else to be found at Avebury, something that nearly every visitor will miss, what is it? Well the powerful Earth Energies of course!

Whether the ancients simply marked out where they were or they followed later is open to debate, I personally think it is a bit of both, the energies have certainly been engineered in some way by the huge stones and the Henge. How do we detect these energies? This is where your dowsing skills come in, but there is no need to rely on dowsing alone because as you become attuned to the site and this may happen through your dowsing, it is often possible to physically feel the energies. This may be by noticing a hot then cold feeling on your hand as you run it over the energy bands of a stone, a feeling of heat in your feet, a tingling sensation or being thrown of a stone.

I have personally experienced all of the above sensations, on one trip whilst leading a group down West Kennet Avenue, the energies were more powerful than normal and we found our legs and feet getting hot as we walked down the avenue. By the time we arrived at the end of the avenue we all had headaches making it necessary to earth ourselves on a wire fence. West Kennet Avenue marks the course of the powerful Michael current documented by Hamish Miller and Paul Broadhurst in their  book the Sun and the Serpent.

I mentioned being thrown off a stone, there can be seven bands of energy on a standing stone, if the 5th band can be dowsed and one leans against it slightly off balance, arms extended it can be possible to feel a sensation of being thrown off and around, this is quite noticeable on a particular stone on the Henge.

There are different types of Earth energies to experience and dowse at Avebury, probably the best known are the Michael and Mary currents, which are the male and female currents traveling east/west across the country through Avebury then of course energy lines often referred to as Ley Lines. It is interesting to see the effects when the male and female cross over.  Of course, with the huge banks and stones, a great deal of ancient Earth energy engineering as clearly taken place. I could spend a month dowsing there and still only have scratched the surface! There were originally over 200 stones visible and even though many have been re-erected many remain buried. Dowsing would no doubt help find them.

Avebury is of course not isolated from the other ancient’s sites nearby, it is clear to see how they are energetically linked such as the Sanctuary and West Kennet Avenue leading into Avebury. The surrounding country side has been the centre of the crop circle phenomenon for many years, I shall never forget dowsing in a crop pattern in the shape of a bar magnet aligned north south with the corn intervolved many times and not broken with the north dowsing male and the south dowsing female. The energies were so strong that my brother who has never dowsed in his life was able to detect the energies with his rods immediately!

If you have some basic dowsing experience with L-rods and pendulums or have attended a dowsing beginners or foundation course you will be eligible to enrol for the Earth Energies & Geopathic Stress course being held at Avebury on June 14th and 15th weekend. Click here for more details

April 2008

EDITORIAL

Welcome to the April edition, now that that the evenings are much lighter and the summers coming I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to getting outside and doing some dowsing again! And the first thing I am going to do is dowse over my persistent Geopathic stress problem caused by an underground stream cutting under the corner of my house. I have just noticed the wasps coming back again to nest for their 20th year in a row on the same spot despite my bucket loads of amethyst and erecting a standing stone over the course of the under ground water stream! So I am going to try something else and if it works I will let you know what it was! At least with this clear environmental indication of the geopathic stress I will know when it has cleared!

This year I have arranged to hold  my Earth Energies and GS course in the Centre of Avebury Stone monuments (the largest most impressive in Britain) based in the centre of the village. I am staying there Fri through to end of Sunday and the course is running over Sat & Sunday June 14th 15th with lots of on site tuition. But, I really don't care if anyone enrolls at all because I will have a fantastic weekend spent in the center of Avebury amongst all those stones and Earth Energies regardless!  However,  my idea of a quite weekend is rapidly vanishing as the course is filling up fast, so if you have some basic dowsing experience  with rods and pendulums and fancy joining me for a nice weekend away from it all, have a look at the EE & GS course page

The following article is from the Dowsers Club of South Australia please have your pendulum and some coins ready before you start reading! (seriously!)

Dowsers Oracle

 Question:

Every month the ORACLE seems to keep saying “PRACTICE” is the only way to improve my skill as a dowser. What do I practice on?

 Answer:

Well I am glad that the word “PRACTICE” is slowly getting through to at least one of our readers. Now it must be realised that there is no 100% accuracy in dowsing but good dowsers should be able to achieve 85 - 95% accuracy.

For this reason I have two simple exercise for our readers:

Firstly place a pendulum over your upturned palm of your hand. The pendulum should rotate. Now place the pendulum above the other side of your hand. Did the pendulum rotate for you? Was it the same direction each time? There is negative and positive side to your hand. Which is negative and which is positive? The way to find out is to simply ask the question.

Now that you have accomplished that easy exercise get two coins of the same denomination and date. Place then on a table a hands width apart. hold the pendulum in the middle of the two coins and let the pendulum oscillate between the two coins. The pendulum will get longer and longer swings as though it is trying to touch each coin. You should feel the attraction between the two coins with your fingers.

Now place a different coin in the place of one the coins. There should be a noticeable difference. Instead of the pendulum swinging between the two coins the pendulum will go in a circle or side to side between the two coins. There should be noticeable lack of pull than before. When you have practiced this for a while try this exercise with 3 similar coins in a triangular formation. Once you have experienced the feel of these three coins remove one and replace it with a coin of the same denomination but of a different date. Place the dates face down and switch the three around so you are unsure which is the “bodgie” coin. The next step is to locate the “bodgie” coin. Don’t be disappointed if you are unable to do this at the first try. When you feel you are getting positive responses try to do this ten times. The law of average says you could locate the coin 3+1/3 times out of 10. So if you are getting 4 or better correct results out of 10 then you are definitely doing something right. Remember for best results go to a quite place to practice.

40 Ways You Can Use Dowsing

by Chris Gozdzik of Divining Mind

This is not by any means a complete list of areas that dowsing can be used – it’s limited only by our

imagination.

1. Finding water – this is the most traditional way of using dowsing, also known as witching or divining.

2. Search for gold and minerals – this also include oil and gas dowsing and is quite widely used. Some oil companies won’t admit they hire dowsers to locate rich oil deposits.

3. Finding lost objects or missing people.

4. Detecting geopathic zones. Again – this is a growing field. Did you know that several European countries won’t give you building permit without testing for geopathic zones?

5. Finding water or gas mains or finding leaks

6. Sexing un-hatched eggs – this one requires some skills and a way to neutralize the dowsing tool and the spot to avoid the shadow effect that can skew your results.

7. Dowsing stock market – a bit controversial – from what I gathered you can get better results dowsing trends. It’s hard to find out the truth – I don’t think successful stock market dowsers would share their techniques with the public for obvious reasons…

8. Dowsing fruit and vegetables for freshness and contaminants – irradiated, sprayed or otherwise treated food will give very low life force reading.

9. Testing supplements for compatibility with your body.

10. Testing for mineral deficiencies or surplus.

11. Adjusting charkas – for spin rate, direction, opening ratio, etc.

12. Body scan to determine problem areas

13. Relationship and personal issues dowsing – one of the more difficult areas to dowse as it requires total detachment from the outcome, especially if you dowse your own situation.

14. Quality control – you can dowse products on the assembly line to eliminate problems

15. Finding problems in cars or machinery

16. Finding your way in unknown terrain

17. Dowsing lottery numbers – like stock market dowsing – no dowser came forward to show his results, so I’d rather stick to other ways of making a living.

18. Distant healing – sending healing vibrations from a distance.

19. Aura clearing and adjusting

20. Removing noxious energy

21. Direct healing over affected area

22. Removing negative energy cords

23. Chromo-therapy – colour healing

24. Phone book dowsing – finding product or service provider best suited for your current need

25. Garden dowsing to find the best location and soil conditions for particular plants

26. Soil testing to check for mineral deficiencies

27. Map dowsing – a wider term that includes water and mineral search, missing people search,

28. Storm tracking, etc.

29. Grave dowsing

30. Ghost hunting

31. Alphabet dowsing (channeling)

32. Animal communication

33. Energizing water and food

34. Finding wiring in the wall

35. Spiritual dowsing – anything connected with finding one’s spiritual path

36. Dowsing charts – getting answers using graphical representations

37. Dowsing land mines – used primarily during the war in Vietnam and Korea

38. Tracking – people or animals

39. Protection from geopathic zones and electromagnetic fields

40. Predicting future events

Paul Craddock’s Dowsing News

February 2008

EDITORIAL

Well its that time of the month again for another Newsletter! We had an enjoyable informative Dowsing for Health Meeting last weekend. Of particular interest (to me) was the talk on the works of the late Jack Temple the dowser healer who treated amongst others Princess Diana using energy / vibrational  medicine more information at www.dowserhealer.com

In this edition I have an article on Device-less dowsing. I am often asked how it works? There are many varieties of device-less dowsing but essentially it means dowsing with out using any tools or instruments which can be big help when dowsing in Tesco's, which is why I some times call it Tesco's dowsing on my courses! In other words it can be used when you have forgotten your pendulum or rods or want to be discrete in your dowsing. Of course it is may be a dowsers ultimate aim to evolve to a point where he or she no longer needs to rely on dowsing tools. My own favorite is finger dowsing which I find works well most of the time for me. I normally recommend that to start with you use your device-less  dowsing  and normal dowsing side by side on the same dowsing task so you can compare results and build your confidence and test your device-less dowsing results. One last point to remember, we are all device-less dowsing to a certain extent when we use our intuition, so you are already doing it!

I hope to see some of you at South Coast Dowsers on Monday 4th , bring your pendulums!

Device-less dowsing is a way of dowsing without using any dowsing tools or instruments (ed)

Device-less Dowsing

By Dan Wilson

Although deviceless dowsing is extremely useful in many situations - in my opinion dowsing with a pendulum or divining rod is here to stay as it creates a sort of an anchor that our intent needs to concentrate on the subject or object.

Beginners find one or other system of deviceless dowsing (let's say -DD for short) much easier than using tools, but one method doesn't suit everyone. Basically, people are "touchies" or "feelies" - they naturally do -DD by touch or movement, or by feel or sensing. Either way, once they have started to try their own system out in real life, without group support, the fairly weak responses are much easier to lose faith in than weak responses of tools, so to start with -DD isn't in fact as practical as starting with tools. But, if you're reading this and have just come to dowsing and can't do any of it, don't let that put you off trying these methods and getting the feel of them.

First, what kind of question-and-answer would really be useful and interesting to you ? This is a very personal matter, but in classes I usually suggest a few like:

How does my health score compared to perfect ? (You look for a yes or no when trying 10,20,30,40 etc per cent in turn, perhaps using the fingers of the non-dowsing hand and the gaps between them and mentally posting the numbers there. You HAVE to get a response somewhere so it's a good starter. 0 won't be an answer as that will require you to be dead and if you get 100 there's probably a glitch in your system - but never mind !

Or you can test for "vitality" in the same way. "Vitality" as a per cent is the proportion of your total energy available for living rather than fighting current stress factors, while "health" is the same thing, but rolling into account all the possible stress factors you are likely to meet, being the person you are.)

What stresses me ? (Start with classes of things like food, other substance, circumstance, interrelationship, something place-linked, then hunt for detail.)

Does my car/house/TV need attention for anything ? (Then search.)

Is my mother-in-law naturally like that, or do we wind each other up ? (A laugh in the class is never unwelcome.)

There are about 12 discrete -DD systems that I know, so we have to cover four of them in each of the three lessons, so I'll mix the touchy and feely systems to give everyone a chance.

1. Finger-thumb

Think your question, or the section of it (is 40% correct ?) and rub index finger and thumb together gently. A rough feeling = yes. Slippery = no. This system doesn't work well for me so I use the thumb and next finger to have a reverse indication. This is a variant of the radionics "stick pad" which you rub with a thumb to get the knob settings on the "black boxes".

Very popular with "psionic" (dowser) doctors who can hide their dowsing hand in their pocket.

Maybe that didn't work. Let us do a search for a method:

2. Body response

When starting this, you don't know what your body response is, so you ask your question and just remain alert to any noticeable sensation or body part twitch or movement. More than 50% of people have a hand reaction of some kind - two fingers moving apart or together, or a clenching or opening.

One of the messages I saved was from Creeksong on Oct 15 1998, who says in this regard:

----quote

Please know that this energy sensation varies enormously from one person to the next and from one question to the next. We do have to emphasize the wide variety of sensations that can be experienced. Among them:

 - Tingling feelings in all of the hand or just part of the hand

- A gentle breeze-like feeling blowing past the hand

- A cool draft of air

- A pressure-like pushing against an invisible barrier

- An edge-like feeling as if an invisible sharp edge is pushing on a large or small part of your hand/fingers

- A buzzing feeling in all or part of your hand/fingers

- A gentle push on the fingertips

- A pronounced tingling or sharp sensation in one finger only or just part of one finger only

- A "thud" feeling in the palm of the hand

- A line of energy suddenly appearing across part of the hand.

Those are just a few of the common ones. Usually they are felt in the left hand, but sometimes also in the right hand, and sometimes in both hands. Sometimes the sensation is very up front and obvious. Other times it is subtle. It's rarely the same for two different questions. It seems to change depending on the question and the answer.

----end quote

In fact I'll make the rest of Creeksong's message my third method:

3. Two Hand Pass

----------------quote

I couldn't find the abbreviated version of this that I posted sometime or other [...] but it is a beautiful way to do body dowsing, (except in a crowd?), so I went and found the original from Olga Nickle, who invented this for use in her Learning Path Technique, and I'm just going to post the whole thing since it's not too long. I used the technique, to find the direction that my radiator cap flew off in. :-)

TWO HAND PASS TECHNIQUE

a) Place the palms of your hands together in a prayerful manner at face level.

b) Lower the left hand to waist level.

c) Intend yourself in the palm of your right hand, which remains in an upright position.

d) Ask a question (which can be answered with a simple Yes or No) of your left hand. Give yourself plenty of space and extend your left arm back as far to the left as you can. Move your left hand away from your back, toward your front, and toward your right side but under your right hand.

Note that the left hand is always more than a foot below the upright right hand at all times. The two hands are NEVER opposite one another at the same level.

 e) If the answer is "Yes", you will feel energy, or pressure, or just a strong physical inclination to stop before your left hand gets to the right elbow level. This is the energy we are talking about.

If the answer is a strong "Yes", the left hand will stop almost immediately. A weak "Yes" will be closer to the front. If the left hand stops under the right elbow, it means "Don't know". If the left hand goes cleanly past the right elbow under the right hand, then the answer is "No".

It is wise to practice this exercise over and over so you get used to the sensation in your left hand. The easiest way to practice this is to ask Yes-or-No questions where you already know the answer. Often the silliest obvious questions are the best for this practice.

----end quote

 4. Blink

Consciously hold your eyes open and think your question. A blink occurring against your will signifies a "yes". When learning, it often helps to point at the possible answers.

If you're uncertain whether a blink was a natural one or a dowsing one, either repeat the exercise or dowse it, using another system if you prefer. After a while you can tell them apart.

I got into toolless dowsing via this method, which was highly unnatural for me and took 15 months to start ! I needed to find cheap fuel at 70 mph and pendulums aren't too practical for that. I use the steering wheel and the "clock" system where it's a dial reading up to 12. Run one hand round it for direction (12 o'c = straight ahead), mileages (a) away in total and (b) how far along this road before I turn off? Excellent for radar traps and when is this lady in front going to turn off, etc.  Good luck !

If you haven't had much success so far, you can try limbering up with a sensitizing system I use in classes (that is, if I haven't forgotten it before we started).

Find another person and see if you can "sense their aura". (I put that in quotes because I am an extreme non-enthusiast for auras, as they don't tell me anything I want to know. But they work for this.) This is done simply by extending your palm towards them and expecting some kind of reaction as you enter their aura. Sometimes this is a tingling, sometimes it's an "invisible balloon" feeling. Or one of Creeksong's variants in Method 3.

5. Own Aura Sensing

After that you can move your two hands together and command your aura to be there for "yes" and not there for "no". Bingo - you have a -DD system up and running.

6. Hand-jab

Ask your question and thrust your right or left hand down sharply as though trapping a bouncing tennis ball. The hand closing spontaneously means "no", opening out, "yes".

Because of its dynamic movement, this system is excellent for forcing weak dowsing to become stronger - "bursting the paper wall of fear".

The jab can be upwards, as in a class I gave to the Surrey Dowsers in

Surbiton (a suburb of London). As soon as I suggested the method, about fifty ladies were leaping about the room, jabbing into the air and laughing fit to bust. They were dowsing their neighbours, the naughty girls. As one said, "If her fancy man parks his Mercedes round the block and I can check what he's doing in there, it's only like having another pair of eyes, isn't it ?" I don't know if this preoccupation is shared in other great cities.

7. Slinky

A "slinky" is one of those machined spiral metal coils which if you place one at the top of a staircase and push it over, it will somersault slowly down the stairs. Imagine you are holding one upright in your right palm, place your left palm next to it but lower, like a stair, and ask your question. If you feel the "slinky" arriving in your left palm (and/or your hands rising/lowering to match the change in weight) that signifies "yes".

For me this works purely by hand movement. I can't feel the slinky. A variant of this movement is:

8. Wrist Twist

Hold your hand-shaking hand out as though about to shake hands with someone invisible, thumb upwards. Think your question. The hand twists clockwise for "yes", counter/anti-clockwise for "no". Or sometimes reversed, but you can check with a test question.

Now come two methods used a lot by kinesiologists and very similar. These are the folk who get you to hold one arm out, put a test bottle in the other hand and then press your arm down to see if the stuff in the bottle makes you better. Arm goes down = no, arm resists = yes.

Having been acquainted by people like me that this was plain old dowsing, not that some weren't aware of it from the start, they started arm-testing each other for their stock market futures and I am sorry to say that the ethical tone of kinesiology took a bit of a dip.

From there, it was a matter of getting on with the financial research at home, whereupon the lack of a second person was a nuisance. So they started arm-testing themselves, only using fingers:

9. Double Pinch

Gently pinch your right thumb and first finger together, enclose them in a similar left-handed pinch, ask your question and try and open your right pinch against the left one. Success signifies "yes", failure = "no".

10. Chain Link

Again form two pinches, but this time form them like two links of a chain, one looping through the other: ask question and pull apart. Success = yes, failure = no.

These methods are used in a system of personal life enhancement entitled "Holistic Repatterning". As I say, it includes boosting the bank account in a manner dowsers are apt to get a bit prune-faced about.

11. Opposed Thumbs

Place your hands palms-in in front of you as though sheltering your stomach, with the eight fingers hanging down almost parallel and the two thumbs upwards, pressing hard against one another in an upside-down V.

Ask your question and the two thumbs flick away from you for "yes" and towards you for "no". In my case I find I can get rough numbers out of 10 immediately, because the thumb movements are graduated over a 90 degree range.

12. Whole-Body

Stand to attention in front of (say) the supermarket egg counter. Fix a carton of the type you are interested in with your eagle eye and ask, "are all these eggs good and un-cracked?" A slight bow - "yes", a slight bending back = "no".

A few people who have tried this found that they twisted round rather than bowed, and one man found that his bow was graduated, so if the eggs were very fresh indeed, he did a Japanese bow suitable for the Emperor.

(I didn't ask what happened if they were totally rotten.)

That concludes the methods. In all these cases, the significance can be reversed for some individuals, or by willpower, or against your will when you get tired (this is sometimes called "switching"). You have to find out which is which by asking establishing questions such as "which is my yes ?" Dowsing can be used to find ways of remedying your tension quickly - pressure-points often work well - but it always clears with a rest.

The "clock" system of visualization to obtain graduated responses is very flexible, because you can have logarithmic answers for when you haven't the first inkling of the scale of the answer. The log of anything is the number of times 10 is multiplied to reach it - log 100 = 2, log 1000 = 3. So anywhere in between 2 and 3 on the clock means the answer is in the hundreds. (Example: how many head lice are there living on the present White House staff ? I was expecting an answer of nil, but no, the clock response = 0.7 or about 12.40 in clock terms. Ten to the power of 0.7 is less than 10 but more than 1. In fact the answer is five as the log of 5 is 0.6990, and I believe they're all on one person, a maintenance man.

But without logs, I'd've needed to trawl through rows of numbers.)

The clock system (we're beginning to digress, so I'll stop after this) will if you provide room on the dial for it, also give you a yes stronger than yes - "yes-beyond-yes", it's called, and a similar extra-strong no.

These signify answers which are more positive or negative than you have allowed for in your question. Has my daughter passed her exam ?

Yes-beyond-yes = she came top. Will my train leave on time ? No-beyond-no = it's not running. Etc.

Anyone who is disappointed with their own method hasn't been mentioned, please say so loudly. I shan't overlook it in future.

One snag of dowsing is that you are always slaving with a list of choices you may not be completely in possession of. This is what got me into clairvoyance - I wanted the relevant list presented to me.

I started by using the pressure-point system rather as though I could already do direct-viewing and treated myself for temporary inability to do it. I had a lady client and she was obviously intolerant to something, but what ? I couldn't get at it quickly enough. I dowsed for a pressure-point, applied it, and immediately a silent "voice" said: look up in the top corner of the room. I looked there, and there was a little picture of my client bending over a counter of oranges. Easy when you know how but impossible a moment earlier !

Better still, the great virtue of not setting the list yourself (or better still again, the terms in which the list is presented) is that you are very quickly educated about how things really are.

DOWSER’S ORACLE
From the Dowsers club of south Australia

Question: Can we assess the Qi—connection in our house?

Question: Yes, this can be done quite easily, provided you acquired some basic skills in handling a (angle)
dowsing rod.

Firstly: What is Qi? Qi (pronounce “tshee”), also written “Chi”, means “life energy”, also known as “Prana”. It is created where cosmic and earth energies meet, e.g. at the earth’s surface. We can discern between “old and established” Qi and “young and immature” Qi. Old Qi is raised by healthy environments and trees, young Qi is issued by freshly fallen rain, by noise, etc. There should be a balance between “old” and “young” Qi. We recognize “yang” Qi (energizing) and “yin” Qi (depleting), which can eliminate each other. There is also Si—Qi (Qi of death) and Sha—Qi (Qi of destruction). The sum and balance of all Qi influences on your house is the “Qi—connection”. It can be assessed by dowsing.
Secondly: During Qi assessment we use a single angle dowsing rod. Those unfamiliar with its basic operation and handling, please see Geoff at the 7:30 dowsing instruction, prior to our meeting. He is happy to unveil the mysteries of this simple but miraculous instrument,

Assessing the Qi—Connection. Stand outside the front door with the dowsing rod in your hand in a neutral position (pointing blank forward). Position yourself with your rod parallel to the closed door. Concentrate on asking for the “Qi—connection”. This should avoid getting reactions triggered by underground water, earth—grids, geomagnetic lines, ley—lines, etc.
Now, let someone open the front door. Almost invariably you will find that the rod will turn and point towards the inside of the house. The Qi—flow is drawn into the house, just follow it. Exceptionally, the rod might be turned away from the entrance, which means that the Qi—flow is repelled. A very unhealthy situation, that might be caused by the presence of a big mirror immediately behind and facing the front door. In that case, remove it. Follow the Qi—flow, by walking behind the dowsing rod, wherever it takes you. It will never try to go through a wall or furniture. Now, follow every curve and meandering and let an assistant draw your track on a floor plan. When you are finished, you will see that you will most likely have left through the back door. In case there is no back door, you will leave again through the front. Looking at the path that you have followed, you should find an elegantly flowing curve with some loops, sometimes clockwise, sometimes anticlockwise, running through every room and every corner of the house, including bathroom, storage, etc. If one room seems to be skipped, most likely you were facing a mirror, while trying to get into that room. Mirrors should not be facing doors, windows or beds. If at any occasion, you find straight lines or sharp and edgy corners, squares, triangles, zig—zag patterns, etc., you encountered disharmony or even detrimental Si— or Sha—Qi. Your house is in urgent need of “Feng Shui doctoring”. Sha—Qi (a straight line) for instance occurs, where the back door is straight opposite the front door, with rooms left and right of a central corridor. It might also be caused by a serious “secret arrow” emitted from nearby in your neighborhood.

NEWS OF THE WORLD, July 9, 2000    Money World edited by Peter Prendergast

 DRINKING RICH

Couple Turn Spring into liquid Assets

There was a secret fortune just waiting to be tapped as mum-of-four Dorothy Thomas tried her hand at water divining.

Armed with a home— made divining rod, 51-year old Dorothy discovered a hidden spring. And it’s about to make Dorothy and husband Bryce rich.

The couple are currently looking for offers of around £1 million for the property from drinks firms eager to turn the spring into a new line in mineral water. Dorothy decided to dabble in a spot of water divining after it was featured in a TV programme on the paranormal.

She begged Bryce to make the copper divining rod and off she went to prospect for water on their 54 acre farm near Llanelli, South Wales. “I decided to take out the rod because I’m luckier than Bryce,’ said Dorothy. “I was about 200 yards from the house when the rod started to move and then suddenly it flicked right over.

“It was bit scary but exciting. I knew something was there.”  Bryce, 53, decided to get a drilling contractor to bore a hole. “When we did, a huge plume of water came up like an oil well,” he said.

“It was an absolutely unbelievable and fantastic sight.” Tests revealed that the water was clean and the pair began pumping it into the farmhouse for their own use.  But they decided to apply for a licence to extract the water, which meets  Union standard or commercial use. The licence to produce seven million gallons of spring water a year was granted by the National Rivers Authority after a five-year struggle.

But the cost of building a bottling plant and marketing proved too high for the couple. “We’re comfortably off, but couldn’t raise the money needed to launch a new mineral water on the market,” said Bryce, who also deals in antiques. Now the couple have decided to sell the farm, which they bought in 1982, complete with the spring, and the price has been set at £990,000.

Their 18-year-old son, also called Bryce, said: “Other houses in the area are worth about £200,000 to £250,000, so it shows how much the spring has affected the price.’ His dad said: “We’ve had about 20 enquiries so far and a few have been serious.” Would-be buyers include a French mineral water company and an English soft drinks firm.

“We’ve had correspondence with the English drinks company,” said Bryce. “It’s certainly the purest water in Wales. “Unlike other bottled water, we don’t have any additives, no processing, no UV treatment, no filtration—it’s all pure natural spring water.

“When Dorothy found the well it was a dream come true.” Manchester and Huddersfield University did tests on the water. “Their geological department found it to be as good if not better than most others on the market,” said Bryce. “It was discovered to be an excellent pure source of water, free from any contamination.”  He added: “You need only q a 3.5p a litre from the seven million gallons to make around £ million a year.”

EDITORIAL

Hello again, welcome to the the November Newsletter, I have a real gem of an article this month. Its an article from 1981 from the Treasure Hunting Magazine on Map dowsing, the magazine catered for metal detector enthusiasts.  I still have a metal detector in the attic which I think I will give a go again! the article covers on site dowsing as well some pendulum techniques which you may have not come across before.  Why not give it a go?

This month sees the first anniversary of South Coast Dowsers, we have a good venue at the Hotel but we have suffered from some noise from the restaurant above during our talks. So from January 2008 I have found us somewhere nice and quite! For the new program staring in January next year we are moving to St Johns Community Hall behind St Johns Church on Surrey Road where Bournemouth meets Poole. We have our own kitchen, are next to Coy pond (a beautiful park)  and we have our own exclusive  free off road parking. In the mean time I have asked the hotel to keep the noise down! So I look forward to your support at the hotel for the remaining two meetings this year!

If anyone has any suggestions for speakers for next year please contact me asp as I am currently compiling next years program.

Next South Coast Dowsers meeting 7.30pm at the Ocean View Hotel Eastoverclif Drive, Bouremouth. (All are welcome)

Using Dowsing to Manifest Your Intent Sat November 10th

LOCATING SITES BY MAP DOWSING

By Hugh O’ Neill

Reprinted from the Treasure Hunting Magazine July 1981

In the pervious article in this series we looked at basic dowsing techniques; the purpose then was to develop initial skills in detecting hidden objects of some size and to start to train the body to be able to react to forces and to start to train the body to be able to react to forces and minute changes in the earth’s magnetic field. There was, however, a secondary purpose. This was to show those of you who tried that you could in fact get a reaction.

As we saw, there is a rational explanation for dowsing ability. Like all abilities it takes time to develop but it appears that most people can get some reaction. The whole issue becomes much more difficult to explain when we go on to the next stage but it seems that if you can get a reaction from rods you are on the way to being able to do other things.  When we turn to map dowsing any question of the body reacting to measurable variations in the earth’s magnetic field becomes less valid as an explanation. Perhaps it is better not to try to explain it but just to do it.

AN OPEN MIND

As there is no rational explanation for map dowsing most people close their minds to it and build their own psychological barrier against success. If you have got a reaction from the rods, at least be prepared to keep an open mind and try something, which is very useful to the treasure hunter.

Map dowsing is based upon the use of a pendulum. So let us start by looking at pendulums in general. Basically there are two methods of using a pendulum on-site and of- site. The on-site use is similar to the forms of dowsing that we have already considered. We cross a tract of land and as we pass over the object that we are searching, the pendulum reacts  in  particular way.

The off-site approach requires the use of a pendulum to answer questions about the object that we are looking for without necessarily being anywhere near the object.

Dowsers use a great array of different things as a pendulum. Some say that you can use anything that will act as a weight when it is tied on to a length of string. One person I know of uses a piece of stout thread and merely ties his fountain pen to the end. Another hangs her engagement ring on a length of cotton. It does come down very much to what you have faith in.

There is one practical consideration.  If you are going to use the pendulum out of doors it needs to base sufficient weight to prevent it being blown around in the breeze. On the other hand if the weight is too heavy it will be slow to react and will only give a small signal.

In my box of pendulums are: a heavy brass bricklayer’s plumbline and bob, a large glass marble which has had a small drilled into the top with a nylon thread .Araldited in, two beechwood pendulums, one of which has a hollow centre  into which ‘samples’ can be placed, a  small plastic bob on a light neck chain, and a carved hazel wood ball fixed onto a fishing line. The plumbobs and outdoor pendulums have about 3 ft or more of cord and the remainder have 12 to I8in. In all cases the cord is light, thin and very flexible.

As with all other dowsing tools the pendulum merely serves as an amplifier and indicator of some reaction in the body to what is being ‘sensed’. We therefore need to start by ‘programming’ ourselves to react in an identifiable way. You need to know how the pendulum reacts for you when there is an object present. Usually you will find that the pendulum stays vertical (if heavy enough) or swings in a random fashion until you reach the object. When something is detected the pendulum will start to swing in a circle. On a strong reaction the circle can be quite wide in diameter. .

A CLEAR PATTERN

To build up your. own ‘programme’, take some personal object preferably something that is important to you. Place it on the floor and stand with the pendulum over it. Now, say to yourself ‘This is the way that the pendulum reacts for me when there is an object present’. Wait and watch to see how the pendulum responds and note what direction of rotation it follows if the motion is circular. Next, move away from the object and say to yourself ‘This is the way the pendulum reacts for me when there is no object present’. You may need to do both several times until a clear pattern begins to emerge.

Later you may care to try an experiment.  Take four playing cards one of which is an ace. Spread them out face down and hold the pendulum over each in turn. Ask yourself each time ‘Is this the ace?’ You will find you get a reaction similar to the ‘object present’ motion and that you will be right more often than wrong.

The second stage of programming is more related to off-site work. Take two sheets of paper and in large letters write YES on one, and NO on the other. Put the YES sheet of paper on a table and sit in front of it with a short, light pendulum and relax. Now hold the pendulum over the paper and say to yourself ‘This is how the pendulum will react for me when the answer to my question is yes!’ Again watch for a rotary motion and note the direction of rotation (clockwise or anti-clockwise). Now remove the YES sheet and replace it with the NO sheet saying ‘This is how the pendulum will react for me when the answer to my question is no!’ Again make several tests until there is a clear pattern.

Now we are ready to use the pendulum for treasure hunting, and we can do this in one of two ways. Firstly to find an object and then to determine its nature.

SPECIFIC

By way of example, let’s say we are looking for water. We start by traversing the site looking for a basic positive reaction (the object present motion). If we get a reaction at several points we try to work out if, and how, they might be linked—is it an underground stream, a lake or just separate pockets? Having worked this out we position ourselves over a key point where there is a strong reaction, and start to ask questions through the pendulum. There is one vital thing—the questions must be simple and specific and must be asked one at a time. The question ‘Is there a good supply of drinking water at an accessible depth under here?’ is both multi-part and vague.

We need to ask each of the many questions separately and wait for an answer to each. It might therefore go like this:

Is there potable water under here?—Yes (so we continue).

Is it at a depth greater than lOOft?—No (good).

Is it less than 50ft?—No.

Is it at more than 6Oft deep?—No. Is it at more than 55ft?—No.

Is it less than 54ft deep?—Yes. Is it less than 53ft?—No.

Is it between 53 and 54ft?—Yes.

Is the supply greater than 1000 gaIIons a day?—and so on.

We are still reacting to possible disturbances in the earth’s field, and the latest magnetometers are now just capable of detecting what the body senses. The next step is more difficult to explain. This is the half way stage between on and off site.

Here we enter a field and standing in one corner we. ask ‘Is there water under the field that I am standing in?’ If the answer is yes then, still holding the pendulum in one hand, we raise the other arm and point straight out and ask ‘Is the water under this field in this direction?’ Slowly we turn round until we get a reaction A sight line is then taken across the field. Next move to the next corner and repeat the procedure. Another straight line is laid and the intersection point is found. We can now stand on the intersection point and start to ask questions

SCAN

So we come to map dowsing and this is a technique that I have used successfully to locate sites for detailed exploration with my C-Scope 950.

Take an Ordnance Survey map of an area that you are interested in—maybe it is the district in which you intend to take a holiday. Spread the map out flat on a table. Relax and programme yourself in the usual way. Perhaps a quick practice on the YES and NO papers might be useful. Think carefully about the question that you are going to ask, and use the grid lines as a base.

My question is ‘is there, anywhere along this line, a site where I can make interesting detector finds?’ The ‘line’ referred to is the grid squares across the map indicated by a pointer (the index finger of my hand or a pencil). The pointer is placed centrally between two parallel horizontal grid lines using the vertical edge of the map. I use the pendulum in the right hand and therefore point from the left hand margin.

Whenever the pendulum gives a yes reaction I note the grid reference. In this way I make a complete scan of the vertical axis. Now repeat the process along the bottom edge of the map with the question ‘Is there anywhere up this line a site where I can make interesting detector finds?’ Again note the references for positive reactions. Complete the scan of the horizontal axis.

DETAILED ANALYSIS

When you have finished go to the first of the horizontal lines where there was a positive reaction and move along it until you come to the first square where the horizontal and a vertical reaction correspond. Point to the square and ask ‘Is the interesting site within this square?’ if there is no reaction continue along rise horizontal until it intersects with another positive vertical and repeat the process.

I like to complete the location of all positive squares before I start the detailed analysis. On a map of Yorkshire I found sixteen positive squires from only fourteen positive horizontals  and eighteen positive verticals. In making a detailed examination of a positive square we need to apply a little logic. Objects are more likely to be found near some feature than in completely open countryside (but by no means absolutely so). So we look for likely features—roads, footpaths, stiles, streams, copses etc. With our pointer we take. each feature (say a stream) and ask ‘Is the site in, or close beside, this stream?’ With such questions as ‘upstream of this point’, ‘within 2Oft of this bridge’ etc we can pinpoint a search area.

Sitting at my dining table in London, I anticipated a family holiday in North Yorkshire. Map dowsing an area between Skipton and Barnard Castle I found the sixteen sites. When in the area I spent time searching three of these (you have to spend some time with the wife!). At one site we found an interesting lead and silver ore body that has never been worked, at another some coins, while the third produced broken lead ingots, a range of early lead mining tools and a vast array of vintage metal garbage. In each case (except with the ore body) we got detector reactions within minutes of switching on.

One ‘positive reaction’ site we did not explore (I will be back!). This was at a point where Roman soldiers could well have broken for a rest (close to a Roman road) after climbing a major hill. Another is downstream (in mid-stream) of the bridge in the middle of a village that was at one time quite riotous.

A SERVICE

Unfortunately map dowsing is not 100% reliable, nor do we know what are the factors that influence it. Tension and pressure are counterproductive, and it may be that a hard, commercial approach gets in the way for this reason. Despite the power that a person who can find water in the desert has, there are no records of rich dowsers. One dowsing gold prospector contributed substantially to the fortunes of the Hurst empire but himself died a pauper.

To many of the successful dowsers it is a service—usually a second string to some other bread and butter occupation. So, don’t expect dowsing to lead you direct to King Johns lost treasure—but then again you might be lucky.

EDITORIAL
Hello again,  well its now October! ....... getting colder, but at least I am keeping busy! I have just got back from a great British Society of Dowsers conference the talks were great and many interesting conversations were had, and to top it all (and I don't know how I did it!)  I came back with the Pogson cup for outstanding achievements in dowsing!

Over the years I have always found that listening to the speakers is only half of the meeting, the conversations you have before, during the break and after, can sometimes be more rewarding than the main feature! Socialising, swapping experiences and learning from fellow dowsers can't be beaten!  which brings me to the next South Coast Dowsers meeting!  See you there, it will be good so don't miss it! All are Welcome. Details below:

The Belinus Line…. A Talk and PowerPoint presentation

Gary Biltcliffe

From his forthcoming book “The Belinus Line”, Gary will share his latest research and dowsing discoveries of Britain’s longest Ley and prehistoric road that travels along the spine of the country passing through ancient cities from the mystical Isle of Wight to the tip of Scotland. This alignment has the accompanying male and female energy serpents like the St Michael alignment, and links important and forgotten power centers.

Using Dowsing to Manifest Your Intent Sat November 10th

Past Life Regression Workshop Sun October 28th

I had the pleasure of publishing the following article by the late Charles Holderness in the very first British Society of Dowsers Earth Energies journal in March 1996. It is full of practical advice on how to dowse and correct geopathic stress. The article below may provide you with some different ways to dowse and correct geopathic stress. (ed)

EARTH  ENERGIES

DIVERSION  OF  NOXIOUS  LINES

 By  Charles  H.  Holderness

Development  of  Method

The development has been over a period of fifteen years or more.

In the early days the knowledge and vocabulary were limited and restricted. All unidentified energies were referred to as Black Streams, which were acknowledged to have deleterious effects on the health of people residing over them.

It was common practice to use Iron rods or Angle Irons driven into the ground on the centre line of the Energy Line as blocks to stop the energy flowing through the property, thus eliminating the Geopathic Stress. This worked, but only for a period of three months or so, until the energy bypassed the blocks and returned to its original route back through  the property. At that time other researchers were using Gem-stone Crystals, Copper Coils of a variety of styles and shapes, and some Electrical/Magnetic devices placed on the Lines as Blocks, with varying degrees of success.

In contemplating the problem I concluded that blocking the flow of any Energy was wrong, and that it was essential that the flow of Energy should be continuous and unimpeded. Therefore it was necessary to direct the Energy away from the property along an alternative route, which would rejoin the original Energy Line after bypassing the property. My first experiments were to use Quartz Crystals to outline the bypass route, still using Iron blocks either side of the property. This worked well, until I came across a property completely surrounded by hard standing, where it would have been impossible to keep the crystals in place.

The discovery that this work could be accomplished by Map Dowsing was fortuitous. At a BSD Weekend Workshop on using Dowsing for Healing, during the last lecture of the day we had discussed Streams. Afterwards one of the ladies asked if I could tell how to treat her house, in which she had had a number of unfortunate happenings. She could only dowse with a pendulum, and had no experience of site Dowsing. Intending to illustrate how to carry out a site dowse I asked her to do a sketch plan of her house. Map dowsing I located the Energy Lines affecting her house, showed her how to position the Diversion and indicated where to place the blocks as crosses either side of the house. On checking within the house on the plan, there were no Noxious Energy Lines passing through the house. She went off to ring her husband, some 70 miles away. and returned a few minutes later saying that he had felt all the problems lifted off the house at the time the Diversions were verified. This confirmed that the method worked, and I have used it for patients all over the world ever since.

Since writing this ‘Modus Operandi ‘  I have discovered that in some areas of the world the Substrata is Negative, and as such is detrimental to the health and well-being of the people residing above it. This shows up to a Dowser in response to the question; if affirmative, I then ask ‘ Can I neutralise it?’. If yes, I energise an area of the Diagram by rotating the Pendulum with the house as the central point of the swing. To confirm this I outline a circle on the Diagram which is described as ‘ Area of Neutralised Negative Substrata ‘. This has proved to be effective in areas where the normal diversion of the Lines has not produced full results.

HOW  TO

DIVERT  NOXIOUS  LINES

1.         Obtain a large scale Ordnance Survey Map showing the house and all the neighbouring properties. An A4 sheet is required with the house located as near as possible to the centre of the sheet. Scale 1:1250 ( Land Registry Document ) or scale 1:2500 are suitable. Copies may be obtained from the Central Reference Library, or from the Planning Office of the Local District Council.

2.         Orientate the map so the north approximates to true North.

3.         Dowse holding the pendulum in the working hand to one side clear of the map, and hold a pointer ( pencil ) in the other hand to mark the points indicated.

4.         Commence with the pointer in the top left hand corner to dowse, asking for Earth Energy Lines. Traverse the pointer along the top edge of the map in a clockwise direction, with the pendulum rotating clockwise. When the pointer comes to the edge of an Earth Energy Line the pendulum will change to an oscillating swing along the direction of flow of the Energy. Mark this point; then with the pendulum rotating again, move slowly until the oscillation is resumed indicating the other side of the energy band, showing its width.

5.         From the directional swing of the pendulum approximate where the Line cuts another edge of the map. Dowse as before for the points of the line and width of the Energy Band. Before joining the respective points together with straight lines across the map, ask if the Energy is Benevolent. If the answer is yes draw the two lines across the full width of the paper. If NO, lightly draw the two lines up to either side of the house, but not passing through it.

6.         Continue dowsing in a clockwise direction marking and identifying all the Earth Energy Lines until you have completed full circle.

7.         Place pointer on house, dowse, rotating the pendulum clockwise and ask for Underground Water passing under the house. The pendulum will oscillate, indicating the direction of flow of the water. Follow this direction making marks about every inch to show the course of the water, and asking for the direction of flow. Draw a line across the map showing the line and flow direction of the underground water.

8.         Look at the route of one of the Noxious Earth Energy Lines and decide where it can be diverted clear away from the house, in such a manner that it will not pass through any other houses that it did not pass through previously. Construct the diversion using easy curves at the changes of alignment, routing the line through clear areas, or along roadways where necessary. Since one has to be immersed in the Energy field for long periods to be affected by it, there is no danger to people or traffic using roadways.

9.         Extend the Line sufficient distance beyond the the curve at the point where the Diversion takes Energy away from the original line, to draw the CROSS blocking the flow of energy to continue on the straight line, and force it to flow around the Diversion. The blocking Crosses at either side of the building should not tbe drawn until the diversion has been completed.

10.       Deal with the Diversions of the other Noxious Earth Energy Lines similarly. It is advisable to establish the routes of all the Diversions, to avoid overlap in the positions of the blocking Crosses before finally drawing them in, using thick black lines to outline the edges, leaving the centre open.

11.       The blocking Crosses should be applied deliberately and definitely and energised by rotating the pendulum  whilst pointing to each and asking for it to be permanent.

12        The Benevolent Earth Energy Lines which have been drawn across the map, pass through the house using fine black lines to outline the edges, leaving the centre open.

13.       Each of the Earth Energy Lines to be described on the map, the number of Bands in each Line can be obtained by asking for the number, by rotating the pendulum whilst pointing to the Line and counting up, starting at ‘1’  continuing until the pendulum oscillates to indicate the number of bands in that particular Line. Currently this number generally is ‘Seven’; but this figure has increased through the years from an original ‘One’ and ‘Three’ and doubtless will change further as the awareness grows.

14.       The Underground water is drawn in with a light blue line and the flow direction indicated. It is possible to estimate the depth of the aquifer together with its quantity flow per minute, and the potability, if necessary. This is normally done to obtain an indication of the amount of energy being developed, and the quality of the water giving an indication of the effects it may have on the people living above the aquifer.

15.       It is considered that whenever Noxious Earth Energy Lines cross with an Underground  Aquifer, some of the noxious content is left within the water even after the Noxious Line has been diverted. Therefore the Underground Water should be “Put into Harmony” with the Benevolent Lines that are left in situ and energised by rotating the pendulum clockwise whilst pointing to the water line in the house, and waiting for the rotations to cease.

16.       When all the Energy and Water Lines have been described and noted on the map, it is then titled ‘Earth Energy Diagram’, signed or initialed and dated. It is then ready for copying.

17.       The original becomes the file copy, and a photocopy is taken on which the Water is shown BLUE, the Benevolent Lines infilled with GREEN, and the Noxious Lines infilled with GREY, so that the diversions are clearly seen. This copy is sent to the applicant together with a copy of ‘Explanatory Notes to The Earth Energy Diagram’ ( copy enclosed ) and a covering letter detailing the findings, which also asks for a report back after about six weeks of any changes that have been noticed in the ambience and atmosphere within the house and on the residents health or temper.

18.       It is also useful to ask if there are any Entities attached to the House or to any of the residents. It is possible to enter into a dialogue with them and ‘Pass them to The Light’ thus completing their journey to The Creator, with significant effects on the well being of the residents.

EDITORIAL
Hello, I hope you are enjoying the summer in between the rain! I have had a little break from writing the newsletter in July but have been still active with dowsing. South Coast Dowsers have had two great field trips, one, to Avebury in July and the other to Hengistbury Head last week. And not a drop of rain on any of them! If you are a SCD member there is a SCD members newsletter in the post to you. I have placed some pictures from our field trip at the bottom of this newsletter.

In this edition I have an article on using dowsing to manifest your intent , what's that about? it opens up new ways of using dowsing to change and put you in control of your life........literally!

USING DOWSING TO MANIFEST YOUR INTENT
By Paul Craddock

Most dowsers understand dowsing as a passive way of finding out about the world around us, but did you know it could also be used to change things, to influence circumstances around you. I was to discover that it could after picking up a book called “The Future Is Yours Do Something about It” by Raymon Grace. Raymon writes, “Dowsing not only gives you answers, it can be used to send energy, or carry your intent.”

It’s about using dowsing to focus your intent. Many dowsers I speak to and indeed non-dowsers are able to visualise a car parking space, then lo and behold they constantly get one. I have visualised empty seats in busy restaurants to have somewhere to sit. There is a lot of talk and publicity about using your intent to bring what you want into your life, often called ‘cosmic ordering’. Noel Edmunds has just published a book on the subject and there is a fantastic film going around called “The Secret” - if you haven’t seen it then you really must! Again, the secret is all about using the power of your mind to attract into your life what you really want, and by that I mean to materialise in to your life actual physical things like new houses, jobs, cars, and partner for example. It is all about using your power of intent.

O.K. So where does dowsing come into all of this? Dowsing is a tool for focusing your intent then letting you know when you can stop focusing because the job is done i.e. you can now simply wait for the situation to materialise. For example, if you need a car parking space, you would have your pendulum swinging in what I call working mode, in my case swinging back and forth as I focus on the having a car parking space. I keep visualising a car parking space as the pendulum swings back and forth and when it changes to a gyration, I know the job is done. I can now drive on and the space will be there!

In his book, Raymon Grace describes dowsing techniques to change frequencies. Frequencies seem to be the key. Everything has a frequency, all matter, all energy, all thoughts, all situations, and ultimately everything is energy with different frequencies. With our mental power we can focus our own energy with the intent to change the frequency. This is demonstrated most dramatically with water, for example changing the quality of water, by removing pollutants and contamination. In his book Raymon documents how he has removed pollutants from a large spring by scrambling (adjusting) its frequency. He has improved the quality of water many times and had it scientifically validated.

There is a scientist in Japan called Masaru Emoto who has perfected a technique of photographing water crystals under a microscope. He found that if he placed a label with a positive word like ‘love’ on a container of water, froze it then looked at the crystals under a microscope, it would have an elaborate perfectly formed crystal. If he put a negative word like ‘hate’, or ‘stress’ on an identical container, with water from the same source, the water crystals at best would be distorted. He and his assistants have performed many such experiments and are able to prove that we are able to alter the frequency of water shown in the crystals with our intent. In his book, “The True power of Water” he documents how a whole lake had its pollutants removed though the power of prayer. In this book there are some truly amazing pictures of water crystals. There are more amazing pictures in his other book “ Messages from Water.”

If it works for water what else can intent be used for? In his book, Raymon shows how using dowsing to focus your intent gives you the ability to beneficially affect your life and the lives of others. You can direct beneficial energy in order to effect a beneficial outcome by scrambling the negative frequencies and changing them to beneficial frequencies. This is how the energy of your intent focused though dowsing really does work. As Raymon does, we can also use our traditional passive dowsing to check out the likely outcome of a situation and change it by adjusting its frequencies if necessary. Raymon helped save a policeman’s life in this way.

Over the last 2 years I have been experimenting with dowsing for intent and have found it best to start with little things to gain confidence, like getting car parking spaces or seats in restaurants. I remember coming to the end of a long walk and looking forward to sitting outside at a café only to find all the seats taken and people waiting for a seat, I went to order my food, kept visualising an empty seat, walked outside again and sat down at an empty table that had materialised for me, then I used my dowsing to scramble any pesticides and harmful chemicals on my food, then I enjoyed it. If you are shy dowsing in public you can use ‘deviceless’ dowsing such as finger dowsing!

Finally I would like end with a statement Raymon gave when addressing the Canadian Society of Dowsers, “I have some good news and some bad news. There is a very powerful group of people on Earth. The good news is, they are you the dowsers. The bad news is, you don’t know it!”

I have now given two talks on dowsing for intent and run two one day courses down here in Bournemouth. The next one is on Saturday, November 10th. At the Ocean View Hotel in Bournemouth. 10am to 5pm cost: £49.00
